Absolute Tub & Tile Restoration LLC is a family-owned business established in 1999 by Darryl Hunter, a hands-on owner/operator. Always licensed and insured at commercial levels.
The coatings and materials we use have a proven track record of over 1 million tubs reglazed. Our company has reglazed well over 5000 bathrooms locally.

Tile Refinishing
Tile refinishing is a quick, affordable alternative to re-tiling. If your tile is out of style or the wrong color, you don't need to tear it out and replace it. If your home was built before 1970, it may have an inch of cement and metal mesh behind it that will require a messy and expensive demolition, and disposal of the debris.
Refinished tile looks very close to freshly laid tile, and is actually easier to care for. Once tile has been coated with our special glazes, the grout lines are sealed and protected against mold and mildew. Reglazed in the color of your choice, the entire job takes less than a day, and your tile and tub will look like they were just installed!
Countertops
Vanity and countertops made of formica, cultured marble, and tile can be refaced using our special process. A durable gloss or matte finish is applied for less than half the cost of replacement, without having to remove the sink or faucets, or replacing the backsplash.
Chip Repairs
If you have a scratch, chip or hole in your tub or sink, but you don't think it needs a complete refinish, perhaps a repair is all you need. If a chip goes through to the metal underneath, rust will usually form and eventually cause a hole. ABSOLUTE can fill and coat chips, dents and holes so that only you know they were there. We can color match most standard colors on the spot and seamlessly blend them in to make the repair disappear. MOST chip repairs cost less than $100.
Antique Clawfoot Tubs
An Antique clawfoot bathtub can be beautifully restored to look like it just rolled out of the factory. ABSOLUTE will pick up your old tub, and sandblast or strip all the old paint and rust from the exterior. A coat of rust resistant primer is applied and then your choice of color in high gloss, satin, or flat enamel. The claw feet can be painted the same color or accented with any number of metal colors like gold, silver, chrome, copper, etc. Chrome plating is also available.
The interior will undergo our enhanced resurfacing process that will leave the interior smooth and glossy and easy to maintain. The tub is then delivered to your home (locally) at no extra charge. Of course, we restore antique sinks and other porcelain fixtures.

  • My 50s vintage tub was a mess with a crack and complete de-lamination of the original porcelain at the bottom of the tub. Rust had begun to work its way in and I was sure it was going to be a complete tear out of the vintage wall tile and tub. So I called Absolute to ask for an assessment. The owner, Mr Darryl Hunter said he could come the following week so we set a time and he even gave an estimate over the phone as if he knew what it would require without even seeing it. I was sure the price would change after he saw how bad the situation was. The day before the appointment Mr Hunter called to confirm the job and showed up the next day on time and ready to rock. He explained the process and said it would take about four hours to complete. His attention to details like closing the front door each time he came and went, taking care to respect our hardwood floors when bringing in tools and equipment, masking bathroom surfaces, ventilating the bathroom and wearing proper respiration protection while applying the finish was noted. I let him do his thing and he completed the job as promised with no issues. His bill was exactly what he quoted with a handout sheet of care instructions and a warranty. Be aware that the finished product requires 24 hours to to cure for light duty and will fully cure to its full durability in a few weeks. Also the coating has a strong odor which may bother some sensitive individuals. This is normal off gassing and can be remedied by leaving the vent fan on overnight and keeping the door closed which will create a negative pressure in the bathroom and remove all odors. My final impression is that he has mastered the art of refinishing tubs and demonstrates a high level of confidence in his work. The cost of replacing the tub and the wall tile would have been upwards of $3500.00 so the cost of this refinish is well worth it. I would recommend Absolute Tub and Tile Restoration to everyone and suggest they call Mr Hunter for a free consultation regarding his services.

  • Hired this company to come restore a tub at a house I am renting. The gentlemen (didn’t get his name) was extremely professional on the phone. Texted night before to confirm. Came to the job site right on time. Most importantly delivered on the finished product. Our Tub was a DISASTER. Once this guy was done it looked brand new. Very pleased and would certainly recommend to friends and family.

  • I called Darryl based on a Google search. Checked the website and it described everything we needed. We were a little apprehensive with no references or knowledge of his work quality. To put it mildly, we were very happy with our choice and its outcome. He was everything you want in a vendor: 1. Punctual 2. Did a great job. 3. Cleaned up his mess. we now have a brand new looking tub with an excellent 3 year Warranty. Great job for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this company

  • I love my new tub! Mr Hunter was wonderful and he did a beautiful job. He left the bathroom cleaner than when he got there! He was very careful to cover everything up so no spray got on the walls or anywhere else. He was very nice and I felt very comfortable with him in my home. His prices are very reasonable. It was much cheaper to get the tub refinished then to try and buy another one or get a tub liner. The tub looks brand new. It sparkles! It also comes with a 3 year guarantee! He scheduled me in right away and worked very quickly. I never imagined I could have something looking so nice so fast! I am so happy! I highly recommend this business.
